Project Description

An exterior designed, 1800's stable and carriage house replicated from a photograph, Chef and restaurateur, Jeremiah Langhorne founded The Dabney, located on historic 9th Street in Blagden Alley. Inspired by Langhorne's family lineage, dating back over a century ago in the Shenandoah Valley, the chef envisioned a menu and space reminiscent of the 19th century, which includes D.C. flavor and style. A custom-built, log-burning hearth, ten feet wide by five feet tall, will cook majority of the food, campfire-style, using cast-iron pots, even though the restaurant has a fully functioning kitchen.

Entire kitchen package including: exhaust hoods, walk-ins, refrigeration systems, and all associated cooking and preparation equipment. Complete installation of equipment including refrigeration piping, stainless steel welding and fire protection. Coordination of all electrical and mechanical systems integrated with associated equipment.
